Lower Primary (LP) and Upper Primary (UP) (Social Science) and Upper Primary (Maths & Science) Assistant Teacher vacancy in Lower Primary and Upper Primary School on contractual basis under the Axom Sarba Siksha Abhiyan Mission.

2. Assistant Teacher (UP- Social Science): 548 Nos. [UR: 37, EWS: 44, SC: 70, STP: 113, STH: 106, OBC/MOBC: 157, PWD: 21]

3. Assistant Teacher (UP- Maths & Science): 239 Nos. [UR: 20, EWS: 19, SC: 38, STP: 72, STH: 40, OBC/MOBC: 43, PWD: 7]

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years of age for all candidates and maximum 40 years. 43 years for OBC/MOBC, 45 years for SC/ST(P)/ST(H) and 50 years for Parsons with Disability (PwD) as on 01-01-2020.

Educational Qualification:

Assistant Teacher (LP):

At least 50% marks in Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with Assam LP- TET and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) from recognized institutes.

OR
At least 45% marks in Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with Assam LP- TET and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations,2002.

OR
At least 50% marks in Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with Assam LP- TET and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).

OR
Al least 50% marks in Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with Assam LP- TET and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (Special Education).

OR
Graduation from UGC recognized University with Assam LP- TET and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) from recognized institutes.

OR
Graduation or Post Graduation* with at least 50% marks from UGC recognized University with LP- TET and Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) from recognized institutes/University **

*The appointee who is appointed on the basis of qualification of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) shall mandatorily undergo a Six-month bridge course in Elementary Education recognized by the National council for Teacher Education(NCTE) within two years of the appointment.

Assistant Teacher (UP- Social Science):

Graduation from UGC recognized University with Assam UP- TET and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) from recognized institutes.

Graduation or Post Graduation* with al least 50% marks from UGC recognized University with Assam UP- TET and Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) from recognized institutes/University.

OR
Graduation with at least 45% marks from UGC recognized University with Assam UP- TET and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) from recognized institutes/University in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.

OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks from UGC recognized University with Assam UP- TET and 1-year Bachelor in Education (Special Education) from recognized institutes/ University

OR
B.Sc. or M.Sc.* with at least 50% marks from UGC recognized University with Assam UP- TET and Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) from recognized institutes/University.

OR
B.Sc. with at least 45% marks from UGC recognized University with Assam UP- TET and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) from recognized institutes/University in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations issued from time fo time in this regard.

OR
B.Sc. with at least 50% marks from UGC recognized University with Assam UP- TET and 1-year Bachelor in Education (Special Education) from recognized institutes/University.
