SSC GD Recruitment 2018: Apply for 54,953 Nos. GD Constable in Armed Police Forces (CAPFs).

The Staff Selection Commission will conduct an open examination for recruitment to the posts of Constable (General Duty) in Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), National Investigation Agency (NIA) and Secretariat Security Force (SSF) and Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifles as per the Recruitment Scheme formulated by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) and as per the Memorandum of Understanding signed between Ministry of Home Affairs and the Staff Selection Commission. The recruitment process will consist of Computer Based Examination (CBE), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST) and Medical Examination.

Age Limit: 18-23 years as on 01.08.2018. Candidates should not have been born earlier than 02.08.1995 and later than 01.08.2000. The upper age limit is relaxable for SC, ST, OBC, Ex-Servicemen and other categories of persons in accordance with the Governments orders on the subject.

Scale of Pay: Level-3 of Pay Matrix Rs. 21700-69100.

Educational Qualification: Matriculation or 10th class pass from a recognized Board/ University.

Application Fee: Rs. 100/- to be paid through SBI Challan / SBI Net Banking or using Visa, Mastercard or Maestro Credit or Debit Card. No fee for SC/ ST/ PH/ Women and Ex-Serviceman.
